Visuals – Actis Conference
Technology in Addiction Treatment – Solutions, Opportunities, Dilemmas
We created the visuals for the conference, used across social media, stage backdrops, and digital & printed materials including notebooks.
Commissioned by Norsk Lektorlag
Back when Rita Helgesen led Norsk Lektorlag (the Norwegian Lecturers Association), we created an artwork inspired by their original owl logo, where a group of owls greets everyone who enters their head office.
The artwork quickly became the backdrop for TV interviews, conferences, and milestone moments.
Their original logo (left) was also redesigned and vectorized by us for print and digital use (right), preserving the characteristic “lektorblikk” (teacher’s gaze).
The green owl in the artwork is inspired by the logo, and we made a limited edition of 100 signed and numbered pigment prints in smaller format for Lektorlaget.
2025: Norsk Lektorlag and leader Helle Christin Nyhuus celebrate 8,900 members!
Editorial Portraits
Jane Eyre
Portrait of Charlotte Brontë’s heroine Jane Eyre.
The Brothers Grimm
Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm, the collectors of classic fairy tales.
Günter Grass – The Tin Drum
Oskar Matzerath drumming amid Hitler and shattered glass.
Arthur Rimbaud
The French poet – a teenage literary genius who abandoned poetry for the sea.
Four portraits with matching spot illustrations created for Aftenposten’s Summer Classics series.
The Jane Eyre portrait was available as a signed and numbered pigment print – now sold out.
Artwork for the launch of Norwind Helm.
We created a dåpsgave (artwork for the launch) for Norwind Offshore Wind’s new CSOV Norwind Helm — a specialized vessel for the wind industry — as a unique 1/1 signed pigment print (50 × 70 cm).
Despite a very tight deadline, we tailored the artwork to the client’s wishes — and with DHL Express from Berlin (24-hour delivery to most destinations), it arrived in good time to be framed and presented before the ship entered the water.
Kindergarten Conversation Cards: Body and Boundaries
In collaboration with PBL (Private Kindergarten Association of Norway), we developed 12 illustrations for their kindergarten resource “Conversation Cards: Body and Boundaries”.
“The earlier children get words and concepts for what violence and abuse really are, the more likely they are to tell someone – so it can be stopped.”
The cards serve as a safe pedagogical framework that enables kindergarten teachers to speak with children about the body and address the difficult topics of violence and sexual abuse in an informative and non-frightening way.
Multi-Use cover illustration for Lektorbladet
Cover illustration for the Norwegian Lecturers Association – on moving school exams due to May’s entanglement with russefeiring (Norwegian graduation celebrations).
Multi-use cover:
every element is supplied as a separate image for recombination. The double-page spread above was built by the magazine’s designer from the individual figures we provided (see below).
This is our standard practice for cover commissions:
whenever the composition allows, we supply a full set of reusable elements, giving clients maximum flexibility across different layouts and platforms.
Cover illustration for Samfunn & Økonomi
Cover illustration for the Norwegian magazine Samfunn og Økonomi (Society and Economy) – on Norway’s wealth vs. growing inequality.
Multi-Use double-page illustration for Yrket Magazine
Double-page illustration for Yrke Magazine – on Norwegian Prime Minister Støre’s promised Ungdomsløftet (youth boost), where practical school subjects and “no-smartphone rules” aim to address a school system showing strong signs of deeper challenges.
Multi-use illustration:
A single double-page commission ultimately delivered reusable elements for a 9-page feature, effectively stretching one commission across an entire story.
Multi-Use cover illustration and design for R Magazine
Cover commission for R-magasinet (Norwegian Rheumatism Association) – new research on better treatment outcomes through shared decision-making and patient involvement.
Feedback from an R-magasinet Reader
I just read the latest issue of R-magasinet and am thrilled you use Reisang’s illustrations. Unlike low-quality AI-generated images that undermine article credibility, Reisang’s illustrations are a successful alternative. Thank you for the fantastic quality!
11th edition of "ABC for barske barn" is out!
Our ABC book with Anne Østgaard – now in its 11th edition, 25,200 copies printed and counting!
We created the complete visual world: 29 full-page illustrations (one per letter), countless spot illustrations, full book design — plus a matching colouring workbook.
The ABC “word hunt” concept:
every page is packed with Norwegian words starting with its letter — T (as seen above) has tomatoes, tiger, train, and a crazy tyr (bull in English). A wild and colorful way for kids and adults to explore the alphabet together.
